Have been (carefully) draping plastic backed blanket over fabric hood to prevent dust/dirt/fly droppings falling from garage roof.
Noticed tiny marks in windscreen surround presumably from the soft plastic backing!
You can easily vacuum the mohair hood, save covering it and therefore no more scratches.
Thanks for the suggestion Nick, i do use a vacuum as well but on the tan hood on my NC small white specks kept appearing.
Garage roof is lined with bubble wrap so a mystery as where they come from. Will be more obvious on the black hood.
