First little 'mod'

Our '68 ND2 (so early 184hp), bloke on Fb was selling an unused IL Motorsport silicone intake pipe in black with hose clips. 20 quid less than a dealer posted here. Nailed on yesterday and it does look so much better than the factory ribbed thing. We had also eventually ran down the ‘dealer fit’ no name petrol that came as part of the deal (heh, it got us home and a few runs about). Full tank of Esso 99 and it is pulling rather nicely now right up to the 7500 cut out. Versus Eng sound pipe delete on its way.

Registered with the Mazda app in order to download the service history of the car. Bit of a phaff but it worked in the end. I have ordered a blank ‘mazda’ service book from t’bay and shall create a proper paper service history for the car as it is extremely unlikely to go any where near a main stealer unless warranty work.

And so it begins

 Wouldn’t mind so much, but already started similar things on other financially inept transport…

Just gone over the whole car with SONAX Polish & wax with the red tint, it has come up rather spiffing!

AAaaaannd Mod no.3, le stubby! It turned up damaged, had a whinge, ended up costing me £3.69. Black Sharpe to fix and job done. Actually feels quite nice and weighty, oh nd it still picks up radio stations as a bonus!
