First microprocessor shortages, now wire harnesses too

I didn’t know that most European car companies had their wire harnesses made in Ukraine - It seems they do as auto-production dries up due to plant closures…


Not only that, but Leoni, the German loom manufacturer is the top wiring supplier to truck maker Kamaz. supplying 40% of wiring. Kamaz is the main truck supplier to the Russian army. Quite a few of these are lying. in pieces. alongside various Ukrainian country roads now.

I suspect right now Leoni is trying to get the heck out of Dodge. Perfect example of EGS being something company boards are becoming more and more engaged with.
