First sports car, super chuffed - MX5 NC 2.0

Hi all
Glad to be part of this community. Had a little extra cash come in, and needed a second car. Managed to make the case for this gorgeous car - especially as it’s my 40th coming up! Found it on Pitlane Performance in Kent, who were awesome. They delivered to Bristol too. Just had it ceramic coated, and looking forward to enjoying it and being part of this forum and owners club. Have a great day all.

Welcome to the madness that is the MX5 ownership. If my wife finds out how much I have actually spent on my NC model since I got it, she would not be happy.
That is why I have a separate account!!!

Use the cloud cover to get out and drive, top down, hat on, heating up and take pics of the car in perfect flat light, which you can then showcase on here :grinning:

Absolutely :blush::+1:

My advice is to get used to the car first before contemplating any changes. That way you can really judge what you might need and find out whether the changes made an improvement for the type of driving and use you put the car to. Lowered and stiffened suspension might be good for smooth fast roads and bends but might not be so good for speed humps and pot holes.

That looks Brilliant m8 same colour as my 2008 2L Icon, took delivery of mine last Wednesday and I couldn’t be more chuffed, I’m looking forward to meeting up with other members, enjoying events
and making the most of this wonderful fun car with the top down.

Things to check :-
Scuttle grommet sealing.
Clearing roof drains.

Plenty of info on the forum for these.
