First time Mazda MX-5 owner

Hi I’m new here so please forgive me if this goes wrong.:grinning:
I have just taken delivery of a brand new (ND) 2.0l Exclusive Line in Soul Red Crystal.

I have done 280 fabulously enjoyable miles already and although the weather has been awful some of those miles were with the top down. Exhilarating!!!
I bought the car to have fun having never owned a fun car in my youth.:frowning: And while I am still fit enough to get in and out of it.:joy:

I’m looking forward to engaging with you guys and girls in the owners club and meeting up at every opportunity.
Looking forward to better weather.:sun_with_face::sunglasses:

Is it just me or does that remind anyone of Claudia Winkelman on Traitors? Orange body and face with black hair!!!

Yes, I tend to do the same - even in grey, chilly winter weather I drop the top and love driving in my 2.0L ND. It’s (quite literally) a breath of fresh air :blush:

I’m Dave and I am completely new to The Mazda MX 5 club having only just buying my very first MX5 2008 2litre Icon.

What a beauty it is inside and out, really looking forward to getting the top down and the sun shining with wind in my hair.
Really looking forward to meeting you all at the Harewood event in May.

Thanks for your kind words, you live in a wonderful part of the country, my friend who got an Mx a year ago who is also a member convicted me to get mine. We both surely love to come down to your area, and meet up, time permitting.

We have loads to explore in our area of Yorkshire
too.
