Fit or not..

Have a 95 1.8s special eunos thinking of a set of Buddy club SF challenge p1 racing alloys 16"x7" 100x4  ET is 42 would these fit? and would I need spigot rings? do not know how to upload pictures .Advise appreciated.

Awww. Read the title and was hoping for gratuitous and entirely sexist imagery. Damn.

Sort out some pics - google images doesn’t bring anything definite up

They would fit ok but are you sure you want 16’s on a mk1? How heavy are these wheels?

Tyre price is a good deal more and 5’s tend to like 15" wheels best.

Course, if you have the cash and just like the looks then do it - personally, I think 16’s look poor on mk1’s.

Also, if it’s the 6 spokes with pinstripes, I think pinstripes look chavvy.

What colour is your car?

The picture upload advice is in the FAQ .

JJ.

spigot rings YES. if you go up a wheels size you need to come down on the aspect ratio, so you will need to go for a 45 aspect ratio tyre,

The big question is do YOU like the wheels if so it’s your car, so it’s up to you…but i would personaly keep the standard one to refit to your car if you ever want to sell her…

Thank you for replies Maisie is white with v recent black mohair hood and glass window great to have clear vision in that direction.Currently off road awaiting Spring.Had her on 16" x 8" Rota Cups widest dish available ,being polished these looked stunning but were hard work to keep right.Sold these in a moment of weakness, put the 14" bbs back on and have been totally underwhelmed since. The Buddy alloys are white and have indeed a red pinstripe and look good. Also considering 16" TSW Hockenheims .Would have liked Rota G Bs but these are again polished rims (to much effort)but do like “old school” with a real dish.Anyway again thank you and where would I purchase spigot rings and approx price?

CBS

If these are the wheels advertised on Pistonheads, suggest you contact Buddy Club UK; they normally supply application specific spigot rings with the wheels they send out.

How about Rota Grid V Grid or Drift?

Mmmm…sheksy!
