I would like to fit footwell lights to my uk spec NA 1997 . I have acquired some from an earlier eunos but cannot find any connectors on the wiring loom . I have only looked on the drivers side so far under the steering column.
Am I missing something ? surely the wiring loom is the same ?. if not can anyone tell me the colour of the wire to splice into.

The connector for the interior light is at the base of the left hand windscreen pillar, access can be gained by removing the glovebox. As yours is a late model NA (Mk1) I assume you have the interior light by the mirror. If so you will have to make a loom to go from this connector from the left of the car, across to the lights you are fitting.
I was going to do something similar a couple of years ago, the connector is very easy to find. I only have a American market MX5 manual to hand at the moment but in that one the two wires are listed as a blue/red wire and a red/white wire. Hopefully they are the same as used in the UK market car.
