Fixing an MX5 1.8l year 2000

Hello Everyone! New member to the club and just looking for some advice really, I’ve recently brought a Mazda MX 5 year 2000 and starting to work on it and make it look fantastic :v:t2: firstly I brought it without a Catalyic converter and was hoping someone could send me in the right direction to buy a second hand one? Or knows anyone who may have one I could buy

Thanks

Welcome aboard Matty and good luck with your car. Once roadworthy you’re sure to love it. There are a number of Mazda specialists like MX5Parts who can supply you an aftermarket cat. Manufacturer cats are very expensive.

Thank you! Will have a little look now, Appreciate your message, I’ve also recently started buffing the car and it has come out way better than it was but could do with something that could bring back some of the black if you know of anything or have any advice it’ll be welcomed kindly

Would this be a good Catalyic converter? The reviews don’t look very good but there is one one that’s reasonably priced

Just call “Rhino666” here.
Rob will get you fixed up…it’s his job.
I’d not buy a used CAT for a variety of reasons…hopefully obvious.
