What can you mix with FL22 coolant to top up levels?
My MX5 and my CX5 both run FL22 coolant.
I swapped the fluid a couple of years ago in the MX using Ravenol FL22 compatible concentrate, but unfortunately have any left over.
My CX5 is showing slightly low fluid level in its expansion tank (below the L mark), and I would like to top it up, but with what…?
I have a couple of litres of Honda coolant.
Is my only option to buy some FL22, or does anyone know if the Honda fluid is compatible? Slightly reluctant to top up with deionised water as worried about dilution as we approach mid winter.
