Mk2.5 Icon 2005 1.8 Litre black leather heated seats and side door mirrors
- It starts up and runs well. Some squeak from a cold belt at start (even though the belts have recently been replaced)
- 96538 is the mileage.
- Loads of paperwork.
- Nice and shiny black with tiny flecks of Windsor blue in.
- Big chrome shiny roll bar added and rear speaker frame (with wind blocker) removed but supplied.
- Black leather heated seats. Also heats up the side mirrors outside.
- Both front wheel bearings replaced 3 months ago. No rumbles and better MPG.
- Transport for London exempt for all zones now. (Central London ULEZ covers the same area as the congestion charge).
- New timing belt, spring, pully, cam bolt, woodruff key and alternator belt 2 months ago.
- MOT until Nov 2019.
- Brand new mohair hood last month with rain gutter taped to have peace of mind against leaks. see better out the back with the new unscratched glass rear window. Faster demisting too!
- FTC02K fuel tank catalyst and additive for upto 2 Litres or 2000 cubic centimetres added to the fuel tank 2 months ago. Better MPG, bitier acceleration.
- Oil changed last month with new filter and an STP cleaner beforehand.

- Waterproof rubber mats for footwells to stop all damp. These still smell of rubber as they are brand ne, so....if you hate the smell of rubber, you have been forewarned.
- Just one none rubber floor mat (carpet) with Icon logo in red (faded).
- Rear electric aerial replaced 4 months ago, motor unit refurbished and lubricated. Works faultlessly.
- No accidents.
- New dipped headlight bulbs this month.
- Headlight plastic has been defogged with Meguiar's G1900UK One step headlight restoration kit.
- Rear number plate light bulbs swopped for LED ones. 2nd Hand lens refurbished and replaced old cracked brittle ones.
- has original radio and CD player, code security works fine
- tyres have a good amount of rubber left
- New black security studs nuts for all the wheels. They all look the same so you do not have 3 lookers then one knarly old nut. (No comments please!)
- Badged with MX5 Owners club screen sticker and also the 25 years one.
- a few chips of paint off the door edge
- rusty bottoms (same to you ma'm!) under the door
- rusty back rear arches
- Lower lip inside boot lid has some rust bubbling
- back rear arches have some red showing through (just started to show) which I assume is the owner before me having used a filler.
- passenger door speaker is intermittent
- Alloy wheels have a few bubble corrosion areas
- The fresh air control (outside or recirculate) is a bit sticky but works fine.
- Front number plate housing is a bit old. The rubber edging is coming away.
- Front offside (drivers side in UK) fog lamp cover (lens) is smashed however the bulb works fine.
