Forgot CD in unit!

I have just finished fitting an double din car play Sony unit in NC and realised I forgot to eject a CD which was in the car. Rather than refit The old unit to get the CD then reinstall the new unit, how can I hot wire the old one so I can eject the CD.
Thanks in advance

Depends on how confident you are with electrics and if you have some wire and small terminals available. 3 connections should do it if you want the pin locations. I’ve stripped those units down before to recover CDs from units that are broken. Probably easier to go on eBay and just re-buy the CD.

I’m OK with electrics, do have wire, terminals and mini croc clips, so shouldn’t be a problem. I’m assuming permanent, switched live and earth is required.

The CD is a special one off compilation made by a close friend, hence would really like to get it back.

Thanks

This any use?

Yes, 2 lives and a ground should do it.

I should be able to work it out from here, thanks

CD saved, in the end just needed permanent power and earth :+1:
