Has anyone tried it? Is it worth 3 times the cost of Redex?
Never used one so what damage would I be doing to my car by not using it?

Hello Tony
I’ve never used Forte Fuel System Cleaner in any petrol engined car.
Recently my wife’s Octavia 1.9 tdi suffered from a second bout of sticking turbo vanes (on the first occassion Turbo Force at Preston cleaned the turbo & everything
ran fine. Removing the turbo, cleaning the turbo, re-fitting cost around £400, still way cheaper than fitting a new o/e Skoda turbo). Doing some research I discovered that
sticking turbo vanes on diesel engines is a very common problem. Fortes recommendation 2 bottles of Forte Diesel Fuel System Cleaner to 50 litres of fuel. Cost £25
(that’s for the Forte). 300 miles covered, no lack of turbo boost @ 3000rpm & no engine light on. My wife is delighted her Octavia tdi & can now safely overtake
other vehicles again.
In conclusion, my experience of Forte products is excellent albeit in a DIESEL car.

Keith
Great company, they fixed my Vectra d turbo.
ive just put one bottle in my mx5 as emissions were a little high havent had a retest mind but the local garage swear by it and i surpose it can only do good
I recommend a good engine flush every other oil change especially on the Mk 1’s , to be honest they are all as good as each other.
Just make sure you follow the instructions on the bottle.
