Hello everyone.
I’m planning my usual summer mileage-eating trip for the first week of July, between Alsace (France) and Baden-Württemberg (Germany): Como-Lugano-Furka Pass-Bern-Strasbourg then Stuttgart (Porsche museum…)-Romantische Straße-Augusburg-Munich-Salzburg.
I’d like to visit the Mazda Museum in Augsburg. Have any of you been there before? Is it worth the stop?
There have been a few mentions (search), this one has a YT link.
I get the Zoom-Zoom magazine from Mazda and have just received issue 29. In it there’s an article on Walter Frey’s Mazda museum in Augsburg, Germany, and contains 120 Mazda’s, some incredibly rare. If you can get a copy it’s well worth a look, and even better, if you get the chance visit the museum.
What really caught my eye was at the top of pp.24/25 there is a photo of the incredibly rare 2003 limited edition MX5 COUPE![image] What a beauty!!![image][image] I want one!!![image][image][imag…

Visited in 2025, brilliant. Just do it! You won’t regret it.
You’ll see lots of Mazda’s you didn’t even know existed, and lots of Mazda’s you want to own!

Yes it’s well worth a visit. Lots of vehicles you will just never see normally, but the star for me is the Cosmo.
There’s quite a nice cafe there as well.
