Been looking for a definitive answer on front badge removal.
Do I have to remove the bumber or is it possible to use fishing line to peel it away and carefully lift?
I’ve removed the rear and managed to get the two plastic mounting grommets out without any damage.
Many thanks knowledgeable people
There are location pins on the back of the front badge.
You can use fishing line or similar but you will need to work around the pins.

Removed mine NC1 , deffo bumper off job.
As stated plastic locating pins.
Badge leaves a recess in bumper which needs filliñg …unless it’s just a case of replacing badge with a like for like.

Many thanks, I’ve got one to go back on after I’ve removed the chrome one bought some really strong double sided tape not unlike the oem stuff
Nice , original has two plastic pins held in place with two steel washer type clips.

Does the replacement have the location pins ?
If not you’ve mentioned adhesive tape ?
For me mate , a thin bead of ‘tiger seal’ …won’t ever come off once that sets.

One of the pins has broken off but, I genuinely think the tape I’ve bought will be strong enough, it’s 151 hard as nails…I’m going to stick the neighbours cat on the bonnet with it and go for a blast, if the cats still there when I return, I think the badge will be ok.
I’ve used it this afternoon to fit the rear light trims after painting them in satin black its stuck down really well.
