Front Bumper support / stay Mk 1

 Can any one tell me the part No. for the front bumper long stay / support Mk1 are there 2 types each side or just one type each side?

and where to get them

You mean the support bracket type things in the wheel arch or the black metal brackets behind the actual bumper?

 

If so I have the latter

Those Sole Bay guys are really good, I have seen them on a number of occasions in Suffolk/Norfolk.Hope the parts list is of some use

£16.00 plus P&P for a bit of rod flattened at the ends with a hole in?  Pheww

They have a captive nut welded on one end, gotta be worth £16, surely? Wink

A blacksmith could knock one up out of a piece of 1/4" rod in a couple of minutes. Lesser mortals would probably MIG a couple of angled tabs onto a piece of rod. People like me with access to neither a forge and anvil nor a welder would probably stump up the £16.
