Front Bumper to Front Wing Attachment

1. My model of MX-5 is: NB1

2. I’m based near: Manchester

3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Attachment of Front Bumper Cover to Front Wing.

4. I want to attach a NB2 .5 Front Bumper to a NB2 wing and am particularly interested in the side joint.

5. I have a metal bracket attached to the top corner of the Bumper on each side. (see attached photo)

6. On the Car wing I have a plastic clip (again see photo) which does not seem compatible with the bumper bracket.

7. I think I need a compromise between the NB1 & NB2.5 method of attachment?

Here are some further close up photos of the Bumper Bracket and the Clip on the Car - which as I stated in my original post seem uncompatible?

Do you know if the NB should have a gasket between the Door mirror & the door?
