Has anyone fitted the front splitter from Maxon Design for the pre-facelift NC1?
My experience suggests that fiiting is never as simple or straight-forwrd as the instructios suggest. At first glance it

Looking at Maxtons own pictures - I would say the oem lip needs removing to fit the Maxton
Their instructions are here - but no mention of removing oem lip
My point precisely 
I do not think that the Spoiler things are on every model so can see them not being mentioned. When I fitted a Spoiler to my ND, I had to drill the rivets out of my oem spoilers to remove them first.
I fitted a garage vary style from Bofi racing
I’ve a 2006 nc1, fitted with splitters as you’ve shown.
They had to be removed.
Cannot comment on NC1 but for the NC2; it’s an easy and straight fit, beside that if feels like a quality item (especialy if you consider the price tag…) but to be honnest: i’m not 100% pleased with the styling, i might remove it , not sure (maybe a bit to “tuning” to my taste…) .
