The MK.4 owner’s handbook says to use fuel of “95 octane or above”. I’m using 95 octane but it has been suggested to me that the car could run more efficiently on higher octane. Does anybody use higher octane?
95 at the moment though with prices how they are now is the time to try the higher grades as an experiment…
