Fuel, rev limiter, oil pressure and heat sensor not working

so i replaced the lights in the dash with LED ones as the normal ones were broken, i put the dash back together clipping the 2 clips in at the top and putting the speedo in. however the dials dont work, i took it for a quick spin and the speedo is working but the rest isnt. moments before i did the ten and ground and changed the idle to 850, did the timing mod to 13-14 degrees so not sure if thats the issues. Any solutions would be apreciated car is a (mk1 1991 1.6 eunos)

I would suggest one of the two multiplugs at the back of the clocks isn’t seated properly.

There is a flexible plastic circuit board on the back of the instrument cluster unit that needs to be positioned such that the copper contacts fold over where the two connector plugs fit such that good contact is made with the plug metal connectors and board copper contacts. It does sound like one of these connector plugs is either not plugged in or is plugged in but not making appropriate contact with the circuit board contacts.

Also, if any of the gauges have loosened, this can play havoc. As its an import, someone previously might have been in at the speedo etc.

can you believe it was that, they clipped in but there was still a micrometer that they could be pushed in, pushed them in and took it for a test drive and everything works perfect! thanks xD

Zawpi, Thank for posting a reply to say the problem is fixed. So many people ask for help and then do not follow up to say that the problem is fixed and what fixed it.
