That must have taken so much effort! Clearly too much time on their hands. Or perhaps they did it whilst waiting for the breakdown service?:face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I’ve seen a few jokes about oil over the last few days, I’d tell one of mine, but they are all crude …. :man_shrugging:t2: I’ll get my coat :wink:

Things you see on eBay:

This apparently is in ‘average condition’

Boggles my mind how someone (maybe) thinks this will sell, and boggles it even more if someone actually does buy it! £19 or something, too!

Chancers, here, there and every where, caveat emptor.

Yes. Or another one is someone so tight and obsessed with every single penny that that wouldn’t go in a bin.

My wife visits various Internet news sites and saves anything motoring related that might interest me. She recently found an article about classic car prices and value for money. It was Murrican sourced so largely irrelevant but the photo caption on the MX-5 struck a chord with me.

What is it? What would I actually be buying?

Highest price being asked for an NB on this sites classifieds is less than GB£9k and that with exceptionally low mileage, about 2/3rds the price of an ‘average valuation’ NB in the US , but they have the last laugh on fuel prices :man_shrugging:

Yes, left outside since about 1987.

I think you need to read the caption under the photo. Whoever typed it is clearly keeping abreast of the situation.
