I have a small problem ever couple of months i will be driving along went the rev counter the temperature gauge the indicators stop working i found the problem to be a blow fuse under the dash board second one in from the top left ( it also stops the starter motor working). the car wont start but will bump and run ok.

Sounds like a loose connection making something spark enough to blow the fuse. Does it happen when you are driving or when the car is stopped?

Mine does the same thing. I seem to remember it was suggested on the old forum that it had something to do with the alternator regulator and that replacing it would solve it. I never tried this but just kept spare fuses for when it happened. It always seemed to be associated with damp conditions too but in NI that’s most of the time. Although it hadn’t blown for about 3 or 4 years until last week. It has been mostly stored in a garage and only driven in good weather during that time. Last week I was heading over to England and it poured down just as I was leaving the house and was still raining when I reached Stranraer. A few miles outside Stranraer it went pop and no more gauges or indicators.
