Fuse box location

preparing a RHD Eunos for a friend seeking French registration and am trying to find the fuse for the rear lights.  According to electrical info on the Oklahoma club site it should be in the left hand footwell side.  Cannot see anything that looks like access to a fuse box in either footwell.  Also, the rear foglight switch has only 3 terminals.  Which of the yellow, blue and black wires connect to terminal 1,2 and 3?  Any advice before I start a major trim strip out would be appreciated.

On the RHD Mk1 Eunos Roadster the fusebox is tucked away behind the dashboard, on the right hand side of the driver’s footwell, mounted on the inner A-panel (at least it is on my car). You will need to stand on your head to see it. I believe that the tail light circuits are protected by a 15A fuse.

Mk1 Eunos Roadsters do not have any wiring installed at the factory for rear foglights. The rear fog light switch and wiring will almost certainly be “aftermarket”, usually performed immediately after importing and before presentation for the MOT test and as such all done in their own unique style.

G’day mate, welcome to the forum

You’ll find most of the information that you need, including wiring diagrams and fuse box location and layout in the faqs, see link below.

This discussion [MX5 to France] ran for a while, on a Yahoo MX5 list, recently.     http://groups.yahoo.com/group/mx-5/ I think that the outcome was that the requirements of the Fench authorities was so complex as to make the job nigh on impossible
