Yes, ‘Total MX5 Repair’ in Barry is the place to go.
Mark looks after my 2003 Nevada for me and always does a very good job.
Unfortunately he is often to busy to deal with the many calls and texts he gets whilst working.
If you experience this, you may like to have a run down to his workshop at;

You will get good advice, a cup of coffee, plus a wealth of MX5 experience.

I was looking for someone in South Wales who can advise me on my Mk3 Launch Edition 2005 Bose sound system. The previous owner had an audio cable fitted so he could use his IPhone for music. The cable has since stopped working and I’ve been to many shops who have quoted me between £240- £550 to solve the problem of my factory fitted Bose sound system!!
Can anyone recommend where I can go to try to fix the problem. I will try Total MX5 in Barry, but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I’ve not replied to your thread sooner.
I recently had some work done on my Mk1 by Fastfix in Ammanford, and am more than happy with the work and reasonable cost.
Speak to Chris, he raced them at one time, so he knows them pretty well.
They also do MOT testing( currently £35).
