GarethC's ND Recaro MX-5

Hi All,

I’m a new owner of an ND Recaro Edition MX-5, I’ve had the car about a month now and am loving it, made a few changes already as can be seen below, not much else planned other than a stainless exhaust to go on at somepoint.

Machine Detail:

I then fitted my private plate and a shorter aerial:

Then the accessory oil cap:

Sill plate covers:

Clear accessory Windstopper:

US Style Reflectors:

I’ve also been busy working on the new home for the MX-5:

Awesome Gareth Cool

Oh Well Jel (as the kids would say)

I second that.

Nice, apart from the aerial, never liked those.

Which exhaust are you after?

I’m thinking the Bastuck one.

Have a look on the ath-hinsberger site, they have some nice options for exhaust and diffuser trim setups

Top work on both counts, probably more impressed with the garage! I painted the inside of mine and sealed the floor, but that is a whole different level, well done.

I can highly recommend the BBR Super Sports rear silencer for all your exhaust needs

can you remove the wind deflector like the original and pop it in the boot?

Cheers …

Simon.

That looks fantastic.
Interesting that Mazda have put the Limited Edition plaque on the cubby box as on my Arctic,it is on the dash in front of the passenger.
What make are the floor tiles please?

Can’t help thinking you need to cover your drive in an extra large doormat. Cars need to wipe their feet before going in.

Mega jealous of and impressed with the Recaro, detailing and the garage. Top choice and top job all round.

The original plan was to go for the seamless tiles, but they advised whilst I could drive the car on and off them, I wouldn’t be able to put anything of any real weight on them (i.e. the storage rack etc) so I went for the hard-wearing interlocking ones.

This one is actually screwed into the side of each headrest (as per Mazda instructions), so no.

Yeah they look very nice, especially the centre one, but I wouldn’t want to mess with the standard Recaro styling.

That is one very nice car, love the colour and the seats, your garage floor tiles are great

The ND is super clean! Also really like the floor tiles

Lovely car and I’ve got garage envy now …

Wow And I though my Garage looked decent  . Looks stunning. Do the tiles get slippy, if they get any water on them, are they easy to keep clean?

Heh the Recaro aint half bad either!

No they are always pretty grippy, I just sweep and run a mop over them when they look dirty and they come up great.

Looks like we have our first garage floor detailing thread.
