GCFAB GCR Roll Cage fitting

  1. My model of MX-5 is: MX-5 MK2 NB 1999
  2. I’m based near: Manchester

Need help please, got a GCR roll bar from Gcfabrications. Disassembled everything, moved all the looms around to make space. But, I’ve got 2 extra cables that are in the way that I don’t see on any how to videos. I believe they are ABS sensor cables and I will need to relocate them.

Has anyone done this before? Any advice? They are in the way of the cage where it bolts down on both sides

I had the same problem when I fitted mine.

You have to drill a new hole for them and move them slightly. I used a step drill to do the hole. If I remember correctly the spreader plate is notched for the newly positioned wire to run.
