Due to high milage my clutch needs replacing and i want to replace the selector gate as i know it is worn.
Ive look on mx5 parts but am not sure which is the correct part?

Im sure its a little disk with 7 slots but i dont remember
Do you mean the reverse lockout plate ?
Is it this, sits on top of the gear selector turret?
thanks, guys but it turns out that I have a bigger problem!
basically, my car has just eaten a reinforced clutch plate in 25k
the bite point is on the floor!!!
It was so low down that we couldn’t get it in gear and the guy had to adjust the rod and it is still on the floor.
there’s no leak in the hydraulic system but when I had a reinforced clutch put in at Thrustington he said it probably wanted a new slave cylinder.
i think it has eaten the clutch because it hasn’t been fully disengaging on changes or when I have my foot on the clutch with the car in first at traffic lights!
does this sound like a slave cylinder issue or a master cylinder?
please help.

I need to source a replacement headlight, the whole thing, in a hurry, and mx5 parts are out of stock for 4 weeks!!
currently trying all scrap yards and Mazda dealers,
tried mx5parts and mx5 city
any ideas where to find one would be great or if anyone has one I can buy, I will drive to fetch it tomorrow or Thursday daytime! can’t drive at night atm 
also just had to replace the driver’s seat as mine was beyond repair.
had to buy a pair tho, so I currently have a good-condition passenger seat for an NC2 I don’t need!
once my membership is renewed I will put up in the for sale section but if anyone needs really needs one bigtime gimme a pm and we can talk turkey!
ps will be renewing my membership after the start of next month! as funds are tight due to cost issues with giving my 5 the TLC it badly needs right now!
Try RRD in Cannock - they have a left and a right headlight listed for an NC2/3
Yes i saw those and have sent a msg asking if there for a soft or drop top.
Hopfully they fit mine!

got a reply they said it is the same light for both NC2 soft and hard tops.
mx5 parts say it is a different one for each.
however, Mx5 Parts said mine, as the hard top, wants the version with the chrome, which that one is, so I have ordered it and I’m fairly happy that it should fit.
