Geometry/Alignment in Grampian

Had the car in to Jim King Autotune at Lethenty near Inverurie today to have go cart mode enabled… Jim races an NB and the business has a good reputation when it comes to MX-5’s.

This is the alignment I had, ND 1.5 on standard springs, it is as recommended by Brian Goodwin (link below) for cars which will only be used on a road setting. Very happy with the results, much sharper and lighter on the steering now.

GWR

Front
Caster: 6.0 degrees (basically, as much as possible)

Camber: 1.2 degrees negative (again, as much as possible)

Toe-in: 1/16", 0.15° or 9 arcminutes total (1/32", 0.075° or 4.5 minutes per side)

Rear
Camber: 1.2 degrees negative (matching the front)

Toe-in: 1/16", 0.15° or 9 arcminutes total (1/32", 0.075° or 4.5 minutes per side)
