Embarrassed to ask but where are the trolley jacking point for front and rear?
Anyone have a diagram?
Look along the sills, front and rear you’ll see raised points on the pinch weld, jack behind those as it’s strengthened there. I usually use a small wooden block behind there to jack on.

If you want to place axle stands under the car do so under the chassis rails at the rear most or forward most points as the rails are strengthened there. You can see them in the picture above and below.
Some use the diff for jacking the rear, then place axle stands as below.
Always check the undersides for any weak points (rust/rot) as you don’t want to jack on crusty bits, Mk2’s can rot along the the sills, probably this is your concern anyway for you doing the work?
