Glass rear window question

Hi, Ive just installed a half cage with central cross members, will this prohibit me installing a convertible roof with a glass rear window?,

I think it largely depends on the cage. I’ve not installed one myself as it’s too expensive to insure as a 20 year old (surprise surprise), but when I’ve looked into them they seem to clarify what they do and don’t work with.

For example, the GC fab ones seem to be different for glass and plastic as they ask you to specify when ordering them, whereas the davefab ones are suitable for all roof options.

Where abouts are you based? If you’re somewhat local to me I don’t mind paying you a visit with my glass one just so you can get an idea if your manufacturer doesn’t specify.

If it is a cage for a Mk1 the window wont fit, if it’s a cage for a Mk2 it will
