Glenarm Castle Run/Tulip Festival

As you will be aware we had originally planned - as a Club - to go to the Shane’s Castle Steam Rally on the Bank holiday Monday. However as we were unable to get a Club stand at the event we had decided not to attend.
The Glenarm Castle Event which was being organised privately by one of our Club members, has been made an “Official Club run” and will now be run under the auspices of the MX-5 Owners Club. Details are as follows:
On Monday 4th May 2015 @ 9.45am for a 10am start via Larne and the Coast Road to the 8th Annual Tulip Festival at Glenarm Castle.
Meet at Corr’s Corner Hotel car park.

A range of local crafts, music and children’s entertainment will also be available within the garden over the course of the weekend.
Glenarm Castle will be open to the public for guided tours on Monday 4th May, from 11.30am - 4pm, priced at £6. Tours leave from the Walled Garden car-park approximately every 20 minutes. (Tulip Festival and Castle Tour admission combined, £10.)
After our day at Glenarm we will return back to Carrickfergus boat club for a meal where the run will end.

Anyone wishing to use their everyday car to bring the kids or Grannies along are welcome to do so.
