Good locations

Hi

Looking for good locations to take some decent shots of my MX5. Where do you go or recommend going? This one was taken at the top of Cragg Vale.

Cheers

The Great Glens of Scotland is one area almost at every turn.
This is why I miss the famous (?) The Bruce so much.

Glencoe Village etc.

That’ the UK you everywhere you go there… is something special.

This is taken on one of my favourite bits of road, it’s the Pickering to Stape road and on to Egmont Bridge. I’m parked next to a path that takes you up to the Roman road. Plenty of places to pull over and get some good shots.

I discovered a great bit of road a few weeks back the B1257 from Helmsley to Stokesley very quiet , some great wide sweeping twisties and some tighter narrower sections. Keep an eye on your rear view and door mirrors for mad motorbikes doing a ton up overtake. Driving too fast to take any pictures but next time.

Anywhere along the unfenced road from Malham Tarn to Arncliffe. Stunning scenary especially over the valley towards Arncliffe. Just make sure you pick a quiet midweek day and when you stop on the top it is totally silent. Also a great spot to look at the night sky with no light pollution.
