GRADE-A 6MT - Coupe

Does anybody know what the MX5 GRADE-A 6MT - Coupe has in it’s favour - Not sure how it differs from the regular MX5

Thank you.

Adam.

Sounds like someone is using the term Grade A to describe it’s condition.

In 2003, Mazda made a fixed head coupe, for sale only in Japan.  The cars were classed as Type A, Type B and Type C.  The Type being the difference in trim and specification.  Could this be the car you’re referring to?

I don’t think so as the car is 2013

6MT is an Americanism for the six speed manual gearbox

Thanks for that - The car I’m interested in seems to have a glass wind deflector instead of of the plastic one - Is that unusual.

A perspex wind deflector is available as an accessory.

I bought the perspex wind deflector and had a local glazier make a tinted toughened glass replacement.

Much better, should have been like that from factory.

Does the glass / perspex wind deflector reduce air flow in the cabin more than the standard arrangement ?

Thanks.

Yes it does but physics will always win through to some extent, it’s the best option I have found so far.
