Did this in early June this year it is a must if you like driving, and a must for the mighty MX-5, I have pics and hotel suggestions if you are interested!!

Is this Route des Grande Alps? Not heard it called this before but if so it is a tremendous trip. I did it as part of a huge tour round Europe taking in places all along this route plus Nice, Monaco, Maranello, Monza, Stelvio, loads of Switzerland including the Andermatt Loop, Black Forest, Stuttgart, Mosel Valey and the Nurburgring.
The views and roads are something else, I got unlucky along it in that a couple of passes were closed just south of Briancon but ended up heading through an incredible gorge as a detour. Its a trip I’ll never forget.
