Hi, I’m looking at doing my 1st road trip into Northern Europe next year. I’m
Looking for ideas from this already have a route.
Channel tunnel to Calais then up through Belgium, across to Bonn then Luxembourg and back through France. C: 1400miles using non main roads. We have 10days.
Has anyone done similar and can recommend great driving routes/roads. Please do not include UK M25 or M20 lol.
Well, if you pass by Wijlre, The Netherlands, I will buy you a beer at our brewery, we also have some nice roads in the area.
Then drive to the Nurburg ring and choose in the navi “no highways” then you are treated to some nice curvy roads
When driving to Bonn, choose the roads which go through the Eifel.
Some nice towns to visit are “Bern-Kastell-Kues” ; “Cochem”; “Idar Oberstein”
And the drive to these towns are also good nice curvy roads.
Hope this helps, and looking forward to some photos.

I’d turn right instead of left when you get to France for a start …
