Great local roads

I can recommend the road from Woodcote Green to Droitwich and back comprising Berry Lane and Crutch Lane. It’s national speed limit with not many side roads with ups and downs, twists and turns with plenty of visibility. It certainly makes for a better drive than the A38 through Bromsgrove and Wychbold.
Does anyone else have any favourite local roads where you get the most out of your MX-5.

Not exactly local, this one, but might be of use while the A417 is under construction. I do this trip every fortnight.

To get to Didcot or Reading and other such places in an MX-5, I recommend going through Cheltenham on the A40, and just after Charlton Kings turn right for Dowdeswell. Continue on through Withington and Chedworth.

This road is a mix of woodland hairpins, little Cotswold hamlets, and straight sections for literally a mile at a time.

If you carry on through Bibury and Hatherop, you eventually pop up in Lechlade. A lot of fun on a Sunday afternoon with the top down!

Just a matter of time before they put 50MPH average speed cameras on it though, as they have between Seven Springs and The Frogmill (v. near where I live.) Proposed to do the same on A436 between Andoversford and Bourton-on-the-Water which is a fun road given a clear run.
