Had Greatest TV Adverts, Music Videos… Now is the time to find those classic comedy sketches we all remember and love…! I’ll start this with some of my favourite Pete & Dud…
Fork handles, or was it four candles?
I actually worked at a builders and plumbers merchants in my younger days. We had a few like that come in, and yes we did sell fork handles but not candles.
Absolute Classics
Have been enjoying Fawlty Towers on BBC1 over recent weeks on Monday evenings

A great choice to start the thread. Peter Cook was an absolute genius. The Derek & Clive sketches he made with Dudley Moore are outrageously funny and utterly politically incorrect. They are not really appropriate for posting on here but you can check them out on YouTube.
This is one of my favourite comedy sketches. Brilliant!
Have you tracked down the out-takes from Pete and Dud’s ‘Showerfresh’ advert?
("'ere Pete, there’s a green bat in the shower . . . ")
Absolutely hilarious; full on Derek and Clive.
The 1st one reminds me, back in 1979 when I learnt to drive I had a great instructor by the name of Jock Gordon… He knew I’d had a car to drive in the field behind our house and was familiar with driving… First instruction was to drive him to a local shop to buy cigarettes…! This was in the day of no dual-controls, and just stick-on L-plates front and rear…
