ignorant tser that McQueen idjut, I have to pinch myself that I actually own one of these beauties, for not huge cash, its in my mum in laws garage where its been for 2 weeks, and I love it (her) as much tootling around town or stretching her legs out on the b roads. To me like the guy in that video says its about the way it makes you feel when you are driving,which always puts a smile on my face .
I get the same from my mates, who cares. I like the envious looks I get going home from work with the top down, especially from the guys driving the “sensible” car their wives picked. The September sun is shining, the open road calls, now wheres my hairdressing appointment book?

Sadly I have seen a few MX5 being driven @ 40 on the open road so I do think it happens and is one of the aspects of ownership. Its like I saw three 5’s while out in mine today. Two had roof up but the MKI like mine was topless 
Yes it attracts a lot of girls car comments, but to be honest I find it just fun to drive.
