I think that was the cleverest one ever. You saved me the trouble of looking for it! Thanks Bob!
I liked the Hamlet ad with Rab C Nesbitt posing in a photo booth.
Genius

Tarr-ah lads.
Wot? The hippie teenage sons??
Not claiming this is the greatest TV ad, but does make me laugh and not reach for the mute button on the remote control…!
This PG TIPS AD is imho greatest advert of all time ! Although I’m aware this type of thing probably wouldn’t be allowed today but they were still brilliant! Ps: The current Merkats ads owe a lot to this 70s genre. …
Agreed, everyone in our family stops to watch this one, the girl’s acting in better than most of the programmes
It is a great ad - almost. The girl is funny and charming and it just puts a smile on my face, but I absolutely could not have told you what company it’s an advert for. So yes, great entertainment, but no benefit to the people who paid for it.
I always associate it with as a supermarket add! Location, location, location
One of the best ad which I can never find is the TSB ( I think ) with the phone number converted to a poem
