Hi my mk3 drivers side window has a lot of deep annoying scratches top to bottom so I’m after a guide on how to remove this window then refit a nice one scratch free thanks
Hi Darran, hopefully someone will be along shortly with the skinny on this but you can get the Mk3 manual here, 40 shows door trim removal and 56 glass removal and adjustment,

So worked it out its an easy job just remove 3 screws which hold the door panel on then unclip the panel and remove the panel then disconect the tweeter speaker and electric mirror plug and lift the panel off then you look down into the door and remove the two window stops they look gold and with black rubber on the top one each side and then 3 nuts holding the window in the electric lifter plate it is silver in coulour the tools needed are Phillips screw driver and 10m socket size once they are removed just lift the window up and out job done reverse to refit
Also the 3 screws to remove door panel are below
1st in side of cup holder
2nd in the door behind door cup pull handle prize the cover off behind door lever to reveal it
3rd is at the top of door grab or door pull handle at the top prize of the plastic cover and you will see it
