Yes it can be used instore.
They scan the barcode on your phone…

I have a voucher for £10 and it don’t work on line or in the store. Pretty useless to be honest. As usual Halfords staff don’t know why and tell you to call the helpdesk who also don’t know what to do. I also have £75 of Gift vouchers which their system doesn’t recognise, another £25 gift voucher actually worked surprisingly.
