Hi, I’m trying to download the Halfords discount voucher but it’s asking for a password before it will download. I put my Owners Club password in but is says “ incorrect password,

Any idea what the password should be?

It’s the same password for the website/forum and shouldn’t really challenge again.

I have just tried to access this after logging in once and it is okay for me.

try clearing out cached data;

  • Windows (Chrome/Edge/Firefox): Press Ctrl + F5 (or hold Ctrl and click the Reload icon).

  • Mac (Safari/Chrome): Press Command + Shift + R.

  • Mobile (iPhone/Android): Close your browser app completely, or go to your browser settings and select “Clear Browsing Data / Cache.”

Still having trouble? If a hard refresh doesn’t work, we recommend clearing your cookies for this site specifically.

Hi Dave,

That message is coming up because there isn’t actually a password-protected file to download.

The Halfords voucher isn’t available as a downloadable document, so there’s no password you can enter to access it. Under the terms of the agreement, it can only be displayed digitally via the website.

To use it in store, just:

  • Visit the Members’ Benefits page

  • Log in to your account

  • Display the barcode on your phone at the till

  • Show your membership card alongside it

If you’d prefer a cut-out version, there’s one printed in the current magazine (see page 71).

The reason it’s digital-only is that Halfords updates the offer and barcode regularly, and keeping it online ensures you always have the correct and current version.

Thanks for the replies.

I don’t have mobile data on my steam driven phone so I’ll do a screen grab and save the picture and hopefully that should work.
