Did you work out how to fit the extension cable?

Yep if you read the pdf ref above the Mazda instructions for the hard top fitting contains where the electrical connection is made. I found it amazing this document was on the MX5 SITE Paul

I fitted mine AFTER I’d put the roof on, it was cosy squashed behind the seat trying to twist my arm around to reach the plug!

Hi all just to keep you all informed got the hood and it was silver did not go to well, but I decided to get it painted to match the car. Got the paintwork done for £150.00

Well done Paul glad you got it all sorted. The silver doesn’t look quite right so a good idea to spray it and you got yours done for a lot less than mine was! My roof is currently sitting in my spare bedroom waiting for the winter.
