I’ve been using it for a while. The cost is negated by the fact it lasts forever. I’m still on my first tin and I’ve had it for 3 years and I’ve used it on 4 different cars and atleast 5 bikes.
The good thing about is it doesn’t bake on like a lot of hard waxes. I use it after detailing about three times a year and then I use Meguiers Detailing quick wax (its a spray wax) after washing.
I’ve used harley wax for years its brilliant what I like is you get no powder residue and no problems if it gets on the rubber molding I wouldn’t use anything else
Ive got some Harley wax in my collection, to be honest its as good as many of the top end waxes I have . e.g Dodo Juice supernatural ( although supernatural needs very minimal application as hours later you tend to get a bloomy residue left so is a fussy wax, If your paint is well prepped and in good condition I would seal it with Blackfire Wet Diamond ( 2 coats) followed by 2 coats of Harly.
Its what works for me, everybody has their way of cleaning a car and favourite products.
Just got some Harley wax. Thought I’d give it a quick try. Washed the car and then used it. No Autoglym polish or clay bar but the shine is noticably better than I had before with Autoglym and much easier too. I seemed to use so little that I can see it lasting forever so in spite of a daunting £22 cost I think it will also be much cheaper in the long run. Can’t wait to have the time to properly prep the car before using it again and seeing how much better the shine will be.
When I wash the car after using harley wax I use very ittle washing fluid as I believe if you have it to strong it will strip off the wax
Also with the wax in the tin when the level of the wax is uneven put the tin in hot water and you will get a nice flat level tin of wax again
