HEADLIGHT FAIL ON CX5

The CX5 Vin. starts JMZKEF97…

A bit of a long shot but wondered if any one could help ,
Today a yellow warning light ,
“LED headlight fail”, The right side head light only has day light working no normal or main beam, has anyone any ideas of the problem, I suspect it could be the composite headlight unit or something that controls it? its the total LED type fitted to my car ,my car is the first generation CX5 facelift type car not the latter CX5 I cannot find any detail when I search the numbers on the label on the headlight unit ,or if any of these numbers are the part number .

KA3B 51 030H is the Mazda Part Number. I would check whether a voltage is getting to the unit before replacing it.

Ian the do you know if it should be 12 volts to the headlight main and dipped beam . thanks for reply John

I don’t know the answer to that. Perhaps some else knows.
