It’s entirely possible to heat cloth seats. I have them in my other car.
Rather than destroying a set of leather heated seats you might be better off getting some aftermarket seat heaters. Barrie had some in his last car, I’m sure he’ll be along in a minute

edit: Oh yeah that’s right, make me type it all oout again and then post the original too. Blummin technology!
Hi Paul,
Mant thanks for the speedy reply.
The reason I want to transfer the pads is the compatibility of the plugs
Hiya, I can understand where you’re coming from. My efforts on the previous NC were totally aftermarket seat heaters (pads, switches etc) Not had any experience of what your proposing but can say that taking the seat covers off one set of seats and reinstalling on another set is not too difficult although time consuming. I bought a set of hog ring pliers and hog rings which helped in reinstalling my seat covers. Originally, had the seat pads with the cloth covers before going on to leather and they were very nice to sit on. Good luck
Barrie
Cheers Barrie,
Many thanks for the info

Would it not be easier just to swap the hight adjusable subfame onto the leather seats.
Possibly, but it is the comfort of the cloth seat with the heater pad, as I now have the switches installed .
