Just a question ?, is the event more about souped up subaru’s, Nissan’s ect, Or is there a section for Nissan bluebirds, 120,y and a standard mk,1 .

I keep hearing the name “ Berkeley “. There was one at Hyde hall meeting last Sunday 24 Th July. I had hoped to ask the owner but we kept missing a chat …
Out of interest What defines the limited edition known as the Berkley … is it because it’s a limited edition or has it got Attributes only enjoyed by that car ? Best regards from Ray down in Essex. ( Silver MX5 NC1 )

Hi, Raymond, Thankyou for a very good question, The mk1 " Berkeley " was one of the mk1’s limited editions, The merlot, California, Dakar are others, all with limited production. Only 400 Berkeley’s were made for the uk market only, and an original one will have alloy wheels, wood effect trim, Momo steering wheel, Clarion cd player, black & grey inertia with a chrome cockpit brace. etc.
I unfortunately missed the beaulieu mx5 event,
But i have pencil’ed myself if for the hayling island northnery tea on the 7th August.
