Hello from Camberley in Surrey

Just started on the MX5 journey after many years of looking and liking them for decades.
2007 model NC (MK3)
2.0 litre. 5-speed. PRHT.

I got this as my second mid-life crisis.

It came with part history but with not many MOT issues. So, I’m changing the engine oil, filter, gearbox and diff oil, air filter, all brake pads (the discs are in very good condition), the rear roll bar bushes, rear drop links, and the coolant flush.

I’ve been reading the posts and discussions by different people who had done all the work. This forum has been super useful for the information and advice. Thank you everyone who has contributed to the knowledge base. Really appreciate it.

The car is really brilliant to drive. I come home with a bit of an ache on my cheeks, as I’ve been driving around with a big grin on my face.

If you are missing service history, you can sign up for the Mazda app and get any history with Mazda

That’s a lot of grin factor.

Looking at the wheel arch gap, it appears to have had “work” . :grinning:

Thanks for the tip Raymond. I’ve downloaded the Mazda service history now.

Oh yeah!!. It was the previous owner who put the Yellow Speed Racing coilovers, the Rota wheels and the Toyo tyres. Unfortunately, he didn’t roll the arches and the rear tyres were a bit cut up. The first thing I did was to get the rear arches rolled. Simon from Arch Enemy Redirecting... did a great job. Totally recommend this guy.

Thank you for the welcome. I will check the diary and make a little drive down to the meet.
