Hi,

I’m a new MX-5 owner… ‘new’ as in I bought one yesterday on a bit of a whim. It’s a 2001 1.6 Isola…
I’ve done less than 30 miles due to that pesky thing called work, but I’ve loved every single one so far!

I’m in Burghfield near Reading… is this the most local ‘area’ for me on the forum?

Anyway, I’m also a classic Mini nut, with a 1973 mini to (finally) get back on the road this year too.

Should be an awesome year. :slight_smile:

 Welcome to the Forum Tom, keep enjoying every mile, I remember not long after getting the car coming across some hairpins up by a place called Blanchland there were decending hairpins then ascending hairpins up the other side, I was actually laughing outloud with joy in the car by myself as I took them, you’ve got some good times ahead, enjoy yourself (watch the back end if you’re used to minis, don’t put the power on quite as quickly)
