Help - anyone know of a local garage with a diagnostic tool ?

 Hi,

We have a MK2 which currently has an ABS light showing, our local garage have cleaned and checked the brakes but do not have the diagnostic tool required to find out which sensor is faulty. So I checked with the local Mazda stealers who want to charge me between £60 -£85 for a diagnostic check and another £230 for fitting the faulty sensor! Anyone know of a garage in Lincs area that might have the diagnostic tool and charge considerably less?

Thanks for your response, but we need the car back on the road a.s.a.p so reluctantly I think I will have to send it to the local Mazda Stealers.

You could try ringing Thorpe Lane Garage, North Hykeham in Lincoln. Not sure if they have the diagnostic tool but you can always ask, no harm. We have taken our cars there for over 7 years and very happy with any work they do and prices they charge. 01522 686117. Ask for Ian. Just bought our MX5 and recently had it there for bit of work now booked in for a bit more.
