Help! Engine not starting

  1. My model of MX-5 is: NA
  2. I’m based near: Andover
  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Won’t start. Makes a very fast firing/electrical ignition noise, perhaps something isn’t right post oil and filter change?

Can you hear the fuel pump priming when the ignition is on? (Before you turn the engine over.) if not, check the fuel injector fuse in the engine compartment fuse box.

Flat battery and the starter solenoid clicking in and out?

Yup. Gave the battery an hour of juice and seems to have done it.
